Introducing Slamcore Alert
Slamcore announces the launch of Slamcore Alert, a new driver awareness solution designed to improve safety in high-throughput warehouse environments where lift trucks, pedestrians, and automation frequently intersect. Built as an add-on to Slamcore’s existing RTLS solution, Slamcore Aware, Slamcore Alert delivers real-time audio-visual alerts that help operators remain aware of nearby pedestrians, even in busy, noisy, or fast-moving facilities.
With thousands of daily interactions between people and industrial vehicles, warehouses face persistent safety challenges. Around 36% of forklift-related fatalities involve pedestrians, and between 35,000 and 62,000 forklift-related injuries occur each year. Slamcore Alert addresses these challenges using a highly trained AI that not only detects pedestrians around a vehicle but also understands the truck’s precise location in real time. This enables facilities to analyze movement patterns, identify high-risk areas, and refine layouts or shift patterns.
